This is a simple and showy, one-block quilt pattern, with a simple and fun play on fabrics that makes the Cat’s Cradle Quilt look like a 2-block pattern. I named this quit pattern after the string game that my sister and I would play together when we were growing up! Always the same string, except in the game, you keep transferring the string indifferent ways to make it appear differently. The same is true with this quilt pattern. This Cat’s Cradle Quilt Pattern is traditionally pieced, finishes at 64” x76”, is Fat Quarter Friendly and is designed by Jennifer Long for Sew A Story.

"I came across Modern Rag Doll on Facebook and I was glad I was curious enough to check it out.  I am not a beginner doll maker, I think I can say I am an advancer doll maker.  I have been a dollmaker since my children were young, but still have not fully walked that path yet, I guess maybe fear, or scared to put myself out there.  However, you, your site and your constant uplifting for us to be inspired by our own creativity, have inspired me to be more creative and continue my passion of a dollmaker.

Believing that small steps and dreams can continue as long there is inspiration, uplifting and a community to hold each other and learn from each other.

Thank you for your constant inspirations, willingness to teach all of us."
